The data center is located in the Netherlands and offers space for over 200 racks. The total size is 10.000 m2, of which 5.000 m2 is data floor.
The data center has an uptime of 100 % and uses several emergency power generators in order to keep it that way. That makes it a Tier 3+ data center.
All energy used is generated by hydropower and is CO2 neutral. All residual heat is returned to households in the city of Groningen.

The NorthC Westpoort data center is also located in the Netherlands. It is a part of the government program "Compact Rijksdienst", which makes it an important node not only for businesses around the world, but also for the Dutch government.
About 60 % of the 1.100 m2 data floor is used by the government. Of course they only use secure infrastructure like the NorthC, as it is a Tier 3 data center.
Many clients use this location as a twinning, backup or disaster recovery location. Of course, this location can also be used separately for various services.
NorthC Westpoort runs entirely on green electricity and is CO2 neutral.
